Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, including aerial work platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas equipment. This role offers hands-on training and a path toward service or operations management in a safety-focused team.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of technician experience, and the ability to lift 50 pounds; bilingual skills may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals; knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in a safe, effective manner.
• Work with diverse fleet including Aerial Work Platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil/gas equipment.
• Support a safety-focused environment and adhere to standard operating procedures.
• Provide timely service to minimize downtime and keep equipment ready for job sites.
