Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals—the fastest growing rental business in North America—is seeking a Technician. This Technician role performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime.

The fleet varies by location and primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment; a high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and some trade schooling or equivalent training desired.
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way to avoid downtime.
• Work on a variety of makes and models & equipment including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas equipment as applicable by location.
• Adhere to safety standards and participate in on-the-job training to develop skills in service and operations management.
