Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, from aerial platforms to pumps, in a safety-conscious environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment, and knowledge of hydraulic/electrical systems. We value flexibility with priorities and bilingual abilities where location requires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction or specialty gear preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems with troubleshooting basics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work on a variety of makes and models and equipment in a safety-focused environment.
• Support team with flexible priorities in a fast-paced setting.
