Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms and pumps. You will work with a team in a safety-focused environment, building skills across service and operations while supporting efficient job-site readiness.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (trades training a plus) and 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical systems; ability to troubleshoot fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in a safe, effective manner.
• Work on various makes and models; equipment may include aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, generators.
• Support a safety-focused environment and adapt to changing priorities on site.
