Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a maintenance technician in Texas to perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance on construction equipment. You will read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and assist with troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday (40-45 hours). We offer uniforms, free equipment rental, and paid weekly pay, plus a benefits package including health coverage and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience maintaining construction equipment or graduation from an accredited technical institute.
• Basic maintenance understanding of diesel engines, electrical fundamentals, hydraulic fundamentals, gas engines, and drivetrains.
• Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
• High quality control. Respect your work and make it known.
• Solving problems and troubleshooting go hand-in-hand in this role.
• Be willing and ready to learn: growth opportunities within the role.
