Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking an experienced diesel/heavy equipment mechanic in Oklahoma.

The role requires at least 4 years of hands-on experience with construction equipment or rental fleets and a strong background in diagnosing diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, including Tier 4 and aftertreatment. You will work under typical schedule hours with overtime eligibility and be expected to maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic with a construction equipment or equipment rental background.
• Military experience welcomed when it includes heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, Tier 4, and aftertreatment systems.
• Experience repairing construction equipment including generators, rollers, and earthmoving equipment.
• Must provide your own tools, averaging $10,000+ in value.
• Basic computer skills for work orders, parts ordering, and service documentation.
• Ability to inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment to manufacturer specifications.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, integrity, and a team-first mindset.
• Stable work history with a commitment to long-term career growth preferred.

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00PM (Overtime Eligible)

Pay Range: Dependent on Experience and discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus
