Job summary

Ellington Air Conditioning & Heating is seeking HVAC Service Technicians to join our on‑the‑road team. You’ll service residential and commercial systems, using company vehicles and stocked tools, with a company-issued cell phone and tablet.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience, 2 years preferred.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Complete HVAC repairs, maintenance, installations and other in-home service calls for residential and commercial customers.
• Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of systems.
• Establish customer rapport to sell right products and services.
• Educate and assist customers in financing options and maintenance plans.
• Exceed revenue goals by meeting sales criteria.
• Work with customer service and dispatch teams for success.

Role Overview

Ellington Air Conditioning & Heating is looking for HVAC Service Technicians to join our team! Our HVAC Service Technicians are provided with take-home vehicles stocked with company-provided tools & parts. HVAC Technicians also receive a company-issued cell phone and tablet.

Pay Range: Up to $100,000 annually

Tool allowance = $1000 annual

Responsibilities:

• Complete HVAC repairs, maintenance, installations, and other related in-home service calls for both commercial and residential customers. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
• Know how to establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
• Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
• Understand your sales criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
• Work alongside customer service representatives and dispatch team members to ensure overall success of the business.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
• Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreats.
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
• Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, and option sheets.
