Sunny Service, part of TurnPoint Services, is hiring an HVAC Install Technician to support residential and light commercial projects in Texas. You will install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation components, read specs, and ensure job quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC installation experience (residential or light commercial).
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems (furnaces, AC, heat pumps, ductless, ventilation).
• Lay out, fabricate, and install ductwork to spec.
• Perform start-up, testing, and commissioning of installed equipment.
• Ensure work meets local codes, specs, and company standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and vehicles.
• Coordinate with install leads and team; communicate with homeowners.
• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.

Role Overview

Technician HVAC Install (2025-1153)

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC installation (required). - HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience. - EPA Universal Certification (required). - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals. - Strong understanding of HVAC system design, airflow, and duct layout. - Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments. - Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and meet the physical demands of the job. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and ventilation components. - Lay out, fabricate, and install ductwork and related fittings to specification. - Perform start‑up, testing, and commissioning of newly installed equipment. - Ensure installations meet local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards. - Maintain clean and organized work areas and vehicles. - Work closely with Install Leads, Supervisors, and other team members to ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. - Communicate effectively with homeowners or building occupants regarding system operation and maintenance. - Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.
