Job summary

Home Comfort Experts, part of TurnPoint Services, is hiring an HVAC Install Technician in Indiana. The role focuses on installing residential and light commercial HVAC systems, reading blueprints, and delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of HVAC installation experience, HVAC trade school certification, and EPA Universal Certification. You will work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments, with attention to safety and codes.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC installation.
  • HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience.
  • EPA Universal Certification (required).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and ventilation components.
  • Lay out, fabricate, and install ductwork and related fittings to specification.
  • Perform start-up, testing, and commissioning of newly installed equipment.
  • Ensure installations meet local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and vehicles.
  • Work closely with Install Leads, Supervisors, and other team members to ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners or building occupants regarding system operation and maintenance.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.

Role Overview

HVAC Install Technician



  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Install Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the installation of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience on every project.



What You Bring


  • 2+ years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC installation (required).

  • HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience.

  • EPA Universal Certification (required).

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals.

  • Strong understanding of HVAC system design, airflow, and duct layout.

  • Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.

  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and meet the physical demands of the job.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
