Job summary

The Continental Automotive Group in Austin is seeking an Express Technician to perform quality light mechanical services on customer and dealership vehicles in our world-class dealership service department.

Responsibilities include tire services (rotate/replace/mount/balance), preventive maintenance (lube/oil change/filter service/brake adjustments), coolant systems, and other basic services. You will operate both standard and automatic vehicles while upholding safety and teamwork standards.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of Quick Lube Technician experience in a dealership or independent shop.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
• Ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicles.
• Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year and have a good driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Tire services: rotate, replace, mount and balance.
• Preventative maintenance: lube, oil change, filter service and brake adjustments.
• Coolant systems servicing and basic vehicle maintenance.
