Job summary

Schomp Mazda at 90 Havana St, Aurora, CO 80010 is seeking an automotive/ body shop technician to repair vehicles to factory specs. You will remove trim, access the body, and perform precise cosmetic and structural repairs using power tools and welding equipment.

A valid driver's license and clean MVR are required, with independent work capability and ongoing product knowledge growth. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and may hold a tech school certificate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Prior automotive technician/body shop experience and valid tech school certificate.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and stay motivated to learn.

Responsibilities

• Repair vehicles promptly to factory specifications.
• Remove trim to access body areas without damage.
• Fill depressions with body filler and ensure quality repair.
• Remove damaged parts with power tools and cutting torch; bolt/weld replacements as needed.
• Straighten bent frames using a frame wrack; grind and sand repaired surfaces.
• Perform cosmetic repairs and headlight alignment.
