Job summary

Grease-Monkey in Cumming, GA is seeking a dependable Key Holder to support daily operations at our Quick Oil Change center. You will open and close the location, lead a small team, and ensure efficient service for customers. Automotive knowledge is a plus, and strong leadership and customer service are essential.

Responsibilities include supervising shifts, handling deposits, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and mentoring new staff. Flexible weekend hours and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a service or retail environment; automotive experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, high integrity and attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage time and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Must pass company background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Open and secure the location at the beginning and end of shifts.
• In the absence of the Center Manager is responsible for daily deposits to bank and securing the location safe.
• Ensure the security of cash from the register drawer and closure of the store safe, in accordance with established protocols.
• Assist in leading the team during daily operations and ensuring workflow efficiency.
• Perform and oversee oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and other minor vehicle services.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and report needs to Center Manager.
• Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards in the service bays and customer areas.
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve basic issues or complaints.
• Report any anomalies to the Center Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager, in the absence of the Center Manager.
• Escalate unresolved matters of safety, store security or team member behaviors to District Manager, if necessary.
• Train and mentor new employees.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
