Job summary

Grease-Monkey is seeking a dependable Key Holder to join our Quick Oil Change team. You will open and close the service center, support daily operations, and ensure customers receive efficient, friendly service.

This role is ideal for someone with basic automotive knowledge and leadership potential. You will manage deposits, secure cash, supervise oil changes and minor vehicle services, maintain supplies, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service or retail environment is required.
• Willingness to learn basic automotive tasks and terminology.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to manage time and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the location at start and end of shifts.
• Handle daily deposits and secure the cash in the safe.
• Ensure cash and store security per established protocols.
• Assist in leading the team and maintaining workflow efficiency.
• Perform and oversee oil changes, fluid checks, and minor vehicle services.
• Maintain inventory and report needs to Center Manager.
• Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards in bays and customer areas.
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve basic issues or complaints.
• Report anomalies to Center Manager/Assistant Store Manager when Manager is absent.
• Escalate safety, security or team issues to District Manager if necessary.
• Train and mentor new employees.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
