Aggreko plc is seeking a Power or HVAC Technician 1 in Denver, CO. You’ll work in the service center and at customer sites to service, repair, commission, and operate Aggreko products.

Expect daily field travel in a company vehicle. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience with power generators or commercial HVAC, be able to read schematics, and hold a valid driver’s license. TWIC or DOT medical card may be required depending on customer needs.

• 2+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, reading schematics.
• May require TWIC card or valid DOT medical card depending on customer requirements.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Power or HVAC Technician 1 in Denver, CO. You'll work as a team or independently in shops and at customer sites to service, repair, commission, and operate Aggreko products.

What you'll do:

• You'll be based out of our Denver, CO service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.
• You will either be out on your own or teamed up with other technician(s) to set up and operate equipment on customer sites.

You are:

• High School diploma/GED
• 2+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.
• Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.

• Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items,functional hand-eye coordination, andfunctionally grip with adequate strength to safelyhold tools and stair railing or ladders
• Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs.), push/pull (80 lbs.), carry (60 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs.), stoop, kneel and squat
