Aggreko is seeking a Technician 1 Temp Control to join their team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This full-time role involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators and HVAC equipment.

The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in this field and a high school diploma or GED. The position includes opportunities for overtime and travel, alongside a range of benefits including a bonus program and robust technical training.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of power generators or HVAC equipment.
• Skilled in calculating tonnage and kW requirements.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card if required.

• Perform preventive maintenance on power generators and HVAC equipment.
• Conduct inspections and repairs on electrical distribution equipment.
• Operate out of the Santa Fe Springs service center with potential travel.

What you’ll do:

• You’ll be based out of our Santa Fe Springs, CA service center.
• You’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travel.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

• High School diploma/GED
• 4+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.
• Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
