Job summary

Aggreko is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician 2 for their Pearland, TX service center. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment and troubleshoot equipment failures, working both independently and in teams.

Qualified candidates should have 4-7 years of experience with commercial HVAC systems, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Aggreko offers a supportive and safety-focused culture, with opportunities for career growth and robust training.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience working on commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience in calculating tonnage and reading schematics.
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop.
• Work out of the PEARLAND, TX service center.

What You'll Do

• You’ll be based out of PEARLAND, TX service center and can expect to work in the Central Repair Shop
• You’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travel
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop
• You will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop

You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• 4-7 years of experience working on commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
• Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
