Job summary

Foss Motors Inc in Exeter, NH is seeking a skilled automotive technician to join a fast-paced, high-volume shop with a family-owned culture. A $1,000 sign-on bonus plus comprehensive benefits support a positive and professional environment for you and our customers.

You will perform repairs per repair orders, test-drive vehicles using diagnostic tools, and collaborate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional work and estimated times.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency per dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, etc.).
• Communicate with Service Advisor on needed additional services and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
