Job summary

Foss Motors in Exeter, NH is seeking a dedicated Technician to join our family-owned shop. We offer a positive, professional environment and a fast-paced, high-volume atmosphere with a supportive team.

You will perform repairs, run diagnostic tests, and communicate with Service Advisors to keep customers informed. We provide ongoing training, uniforms, and tools, with paid training and vacation benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong automotive background and repair knowledge.
• Ability to work well in a team in a busy shop.
• Analytical and communication skills for diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on vehicles per repair orders efficiently and per dealership standards.
• Test-drive and diagnose components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair and maintain systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor to inform customers of needed work.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test‑drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed of service needed.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

REQUIREMENTS:
