Job summary

Foss Motors is seeking a Master Technician to join our family-owned shop in Exeter, NH. This fast-paced, high-volume service environment offers ongoing training and a strong team culture.

You’ll diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems and collaborate with the Service Advisor to provide accurate estimates and timely updates to customers. Qualified candidates will have ASE certification, a solid automotive background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality

Qualifications

• ASE certification is required.
• Strong automotive background with hands-on repair experience.
• Team-oriented with good communication.
• Ability to diagnose problems quickly and accurately.
• Familiarity with electronic diagnostic equipment and vehicles.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work as assigned by the service order.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about needed additional services and time estimates.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and complete repairs efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing rewards to manufacturer specifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• ASE certified
• Strong automotive background
