Job summary

Foss Motors Inc seeks a Master Technician to join our fast-paced, high-volume shop. You will perform repairs efficiently, test-drive vehicles, and diagnose systems to dealership standards.

Qualifications

• ASE certification is required and strongly preferred.
• Solid automotive background with ability to diagnose and repair vehicles.
• Ability to read manuals, interpret data, and perform calculations.
• Good communication with service advisors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, and A/C.
• Communicate estimates and required time for additional repairs to the Service Advisor.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• ASE certified
• Strong automotive backgroundStrong teamwork skills
• Ability to identify problems quickly
• Good knowledge of automobiles
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Willing to submit to a drug screen& background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
