Job summary

You will help develop and maintain technical guides for high frequency sonar systems, format docs in HTML, PDF, and Word, and manage related GitLab issues.

Ideal candidates bring HS/GED with 3 years of clerical/technical writing experience and strong proofreading skills, plus familiarity with MadCap Flare, GitLab, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Three years of clerical experience including some technical writing.
• Accuracy in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and proofreading.
• Willingness to learn software applications and tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist writing and maintenance of technical user guides, O&M manuals, and other docs in HTML, PDF, and Word formats.
• Maintain assigned Gitlab issues and participate in testing/verification of sonar components.
• Engage in peer editing and publishing processes and support IT resources management.
• Provide photography and videography support to the documentation team.
