Job summary

Dairyland Power Cooperative seeks a Technical Writer (Work Methods) to develop and maintain work processes, procedures, field procedures, and job aids across the organization. You will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with subject matter experts to improve methods and ensure safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include evaluating tools, creating field bulletins, supporting regulatory changes, and delivering training aligned with processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Generation, Transmission, and Substation operations.
• Familiarity with utility-specific tools and applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain work processes, procedures, field procedures, and job aids across Dairyland.
• Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with subject matter experts on process development and improvement.
• Identify industry best practices and tools; support evaluation, adoption, and implementation.
• Represent Dairyland in industry forums and professional organizations.
• Evaluate, approve, and manage tools; conduct periodic reviews for replacements or recalls.
• Create and distribute field bulletins for process/tool updates.
• Support training aligned with work processes and tools.
