Job summary

Dairyland Power Cooperative seeks a Communications Coordinator to support internal and external communications across social media, digital channels and other materials. You will draft content under supervision, using approved messaging, brand standards and plans to keep employees, members and stakeholders informed and engaged.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in communications or related field, strong writing/editing, experience with social media calendars, CMS and Canva/Adobe Creative

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related digital field.
• Strong writing, editing and verbal skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience managing social media content and editorial calendars.
• Familiarity with website content management and development projects.
• Proactive, organized and able to meet deadlines with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Draft and edit content for internal/external audiences, under supervision.
• Coordinate social media editorial calendar and publish approved content.
• Create basic graphics and assets following brand standards.
• Support website redevelopment with content reviews and updates.
• Contribute to intranet/SharePoint content and user guidance.
• Assist with communications for programs and events.
• Collaborate with departments to gather information and approvals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
