Job summary

Dairyland Power Cooperative is seeking a Work Methods Coordinator to provide enterprise governance and oversight of work processes and tooling. You will develop and maintain processes, procedures, and tools to enable frontline employees to work safely and efficiently, collaborating with Safety and business units to ensure practical, standards-aligned methods.

You will evaluate, approve, and manage tools, lead cross-functional teams, and support change management with training.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in high voltage work or BS in engineering/physics/maths with 7+ years in utility engineering/operations/maintenance.
• At least 5 years at journeyman level in Transmission/Substation/Generation frontline roles preferred.
• Experience using electric utility tools and environment exposure across generation/substation/control areas.
• Leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain work processes, procedures, field procedures, and job aids.
• Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with SMEs on process development and improvement.
• Identify best practices, evaluate tools, and support adoption and implementation.
• Represent Dairyland in industry forums and professional organizations.
• Evaluate and manage tools; conduct reviews for replacement/recall needs.
• Create and distribute field bulletins on process/tool changes.
• Support readiness for regulatory changes affecting processes/tools.
• Assist training aligned with work processes and tools.
• Analyze processes to identify improvements and develop action plans.
• Engage frontline employees to improve execution and tooling.
• Support implementation of new processes/tools via training and change management.
• Participate in event investigations, causal analysis, and corrective actions.
• Provide tooling support to member cooperatives as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
