Job summary

Chandra Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced Technical Writer for the County Documentation Recovery initiative.

This fully onsite role in Spartanburg County requires transforming technical knowledge into clear documentation, partnering with IT experts, analysts, and leadership to support cybersecurity, IT operations, incident response, and disaster recovery. Responsibilities include creating SOPs, runbooks, system and infrastructure documentation, diagrams in Visio, and maintaining templates

Qualifications

5+ years of demonstrated technical-writing experience for complex IT environments.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Word and SharePoint, plus Excel/PowerPoint/Teams.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visio for diagrams and process maps.
Experience producing SOPs, runbooks, system documentation, operational procedures, knowledge articles.
Strong editing, information-architecture, document-organization, formatting, and QA skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain technical documentation using County templates and conventions.
Create SOPs, operational procedures, system and infrastructure documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles.
Produce incident-response, disaster-recovery, business-continuity documentation with SMEs and leadership.
Translate complex information into clear documentation for technical staff and operational audiences.
Create diagrams and visuals using Microsoft Visio and maintain documentation governance.
