Job summary

Bathing Brands is seeking a Technical Writer to lead installation manuals and product documentation for our bathing products. Based in Wheeling, IL, this hybrid role collaborates with Product Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to support launches and ongoing documentation updates.

You will gather information from SMEs, maintain version history, and ensure consistency across manuals and print materials while improving user experience for customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in manufacturing, consumer products, or a related field.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, concise documentation.
• Strong written communication and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Installation & Operating Manuals (IOMs) for new and existing products.
• Develop and update technical print materials associated with product launches.
• Gather, organize, and verify technical information from internal SMEs, including product dimensions and specifications, features, inclusions, and usage details, installation requirements and safety information.
• Support documentation timelines in alignment with product launches.
• Review documentation for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and usability.
• Maintain version control and revision history for technical documents.
