Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of related experience and excellent communication skills.
• Working understanding of basic physics and engineering concepts.
• US Citizen with ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Edit, standardize, and/or modify material prepared by engineers and program leads.
• Produce and design physical media for distribution (workbooks, flyers, brochures).
• Interview production and engineering personnel to learn product technologies.
• Meet with engineers and project managers to learn about new products or processes.
• Organize content into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Copyedit reports, test plans, and procedures; update work instructions.
