Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA) in Colorado Springs seeks a Program Manager to lead multiple R&D programs for DoD and DoE customers.

You will manage cost, schedule, and tasking while coordinating with government sponsors and engineering teams to deliver end-user products and training. You will guide junior through senior staff, ensure timely milestones, and creatively adapt to evolving requirements, all in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or project field.
• 2–4 years of program management experience.
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Flexibility to work as part of a diverse team located both remotely and on-site.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing direct management of cost, schedule, and tasking for multiple R&D programs.
• Act as liaison between customers, technical lead, and engineering team.
• Provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams to meet milestones.
• Communicate program directions to all skill levels, from technicians to senior scientists.
• Prepare technical proposals including schedules, budgets, risks, and assumptions.
