Job summary

Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA) located in Colorado Springs seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead R&D programs for DoD and DoE customers.

You will direct cost, schedule, and tasking while coordinating with engineers, scientists and technicians from conception to operation. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in electrical engineering, physics, and/or mechanical engineering.
• 8–10 years of program management experience.
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Travel up to 10% of the year as needed.
• Experience with DoD contracting and government program management.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing cost, schedule, and tasking for multiple R&D HPEM programs.
• Act as technical liaison between customers, leads, and engineering teams.
• Provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams to meet milestones.
• Prepare technical proposals, requirements, and risk analysis.
• Deliver program status updates to senior personnel and customers.
