Job summary

Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA) in Colorado Springs seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead multiple R&D programs for DoD/DoE customers.

You will direct cost, schedule, and tasking, coordinating a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and technicians in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a technical degree and 8+ years of PM experience, strong communication, and the ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, physics, and/or mechanical engineering; other engineering degrees may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• 8+ years of program management experience.
• US Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance, willingness to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct management of cost, schedule, and tasking for multiple R&D HPEM programs.
• Act as technical liaison between customers, technical lead, and engineering team to meet objectives.
• Provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely milestones and deliverables.
• Communicate program directions to all levels from technicians to senior scientists.
• Prepare technical proposals with volumes, requirements, schedules, budgets, risks.
