POWERX in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Technical Writer to develop commissioning scripts, manuals, and installation guides in support of our power infrastructure products.

You will work with engineers and project managers to gather accurate information, maintain templates, and ensure documents are clear for customers and internal use.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, strong editing skills, and proficiency with Word, Acrobat, and content management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communication, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing or a related role.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop commissioning scripts for varying project stages.
• Prepare and review final commissioning reports.
• Create load bank plans for projects as required.
• Write clear technical documents: user manuals, installation guides, specs, release notes.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and accessibility for customers and internal users.
