Job summary

POWERX Edge is seeking a Technical Writer to create commissioning scripts, manuals, installation guides, and specifications for power infrastructure products. You will collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accuracy and clarity in all documentation.

The role emphasizes organizing content, maintaining templates and style guides, and managing documentation in a central repository. A strong writing background and ability to explain complex tech clearly are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communication, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write commissioning scripts for all levels of commissioning.
• Develop, prepare, and/or review final commissioning reports.
• Develop and create load bank plans for projects as required.
• Develop and write clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, technical specifications, and release notes.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and easy to understand for the intended audience.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, project executives, and other stakeholders to gather technical information and understand product functionality.
• Coordinate with team members to establish timelines of deliverables based on schedule requirements.
