Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a motivated Technical Writer/Editor (level 2) to join our Rancho Bernardo, CA team. The writer will derive information from technical sources, interpret and rewrite manuals, and communicate complex specifications to diverse audiences.

The role requires a strong writing/editing background, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 2 Years of experience with a Bachelors degree; 0 Years with a Masters. An additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

• Write, rewrite, and edit technical documents to clearly communicate specifications and instructions
• Acquire subject knowledge by interviewing product developers and reviewing source materials
• Identify and resolve moderate discrepancies in engineering drawings and blueprints
• Coordinate findings with team members and consult with engineering groups and SMEs
