Job summary

ImageTrend, LLC is seeking a Technical Writer to develop and maintain customer-focused product documentation across software solutions. This role reports to the Technical Writing Manager and supports adoption and product success with AI-assisted workflows.

You will create user-focused content, release notes, and instructional videos, while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven professional technical writing experience in a software or technology environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop user-focused content using MadCap Flare or similar platforms.
• Experience with HTML, XML, and content management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal oversight.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and applying them to documentation workflows.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive documentation planning and content strategy for assigned products.
• Coordinate documentation initiatives through the product development cycle with releases and adoption in mind.
• Produce and improve user-facing content, including help docs, release notes, and instructional videos.
• Manage content organization and governance across multiple knowledgebases and improve discoverability.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate complex product features into clear docs.
