Job summary

Interactive Brokers is seeking a Technical Writer, Developer Experience to join the Learning and Development organization. You will produce developer documentation, tutorials, and training materials to help engineers learn and work more effectively.

You will also support AI adoption by creating guides for AI-enabled development tools. This role suits someone with an engineering background who loves documenting complex concepts and empowering developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; coding bootcamp considered.
• Software engineering background; able to read/write code samples.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and maintain high-quality technical content including API docs, READMEs, runbooks, integration guides, architecture overviews, and SDK references.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure documentation is accurate and usable.
• Establish documentation standards, templates, and style guides across teams.
