Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Quincy, IL is seeking a Warranty Administrator to oversee warranty claims and coordinate with service teams to ensure timely resolutions. You will analyze claims, liaise with customers and distributors, and document cases to track trends and improve the warranty process.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of technical customer service experience in aftermarket support, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical customer service experience in aftermarket support.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field is desirable.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), problem solving, and customer relation skills.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Must be detail-oriented and well organized.
• Ability to read & understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage warranty claims and issues submitted by Gardner Denver distributors and customers to provide timely and fair resolutions.
• Assess distributors’ warranty claims and initiate investigative action as necessary to resolve problems and / or liability claims.
• Complete warranty documents to ensure accurate recording of warranty data to facilitate further analysis of trends.
• Facilitate movement of materials to support GD Field Service Technicians in repair of Gardner Denver equipment.
• Coordinates with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Purchasing to identify and resolve product malfunctions.
• Resolves disputes with customers and distributors concerning disposition of warranty claims to promote sound and reasonable customer relations
