Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Warranty Administrator to manage warranty claims from Gardner Denver distributors and customers in Quincy, IL, ensuring timely and fair resolutions under established guidelines. You will document warranty data and coordinate with internal teams to support service needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical customer service experience in aftermarket support.
• Bachelor's degree is desirable, preferably in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Manage warranty claims and issues submitted by Gardner Denver distributors and customers to provide timely and fair resolutions.
• Assess distributors' warranty claims and initiate investigative action as necessary to resolve problems and / or liability claims.
• Complete warranty documents to ensure accurate recording of warranty data to facilitate further analysis of trends.
• Facilitate movement of materials to support GD Field Service Technicians in repair of Gardner Denver equipment.
• Coordinates with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Purchasing to identify and resolve product malfunctions.
• Resolves disputes with customers and distributors concerning disposition of warranty claims to promote sound and reasonable customer relations

• Must be detail-oriented and well organized


• Ability to read & understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams preferred


• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

• This position will be based in Quincy, IL with minimal anticipated travel.

Pay Range

• The pay range for this role is $50,000-$70,000. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location.
