Job summary

ABB’s Service Division in the US is seeking a Technical Training and Development Manager to lead the Cary, NC training center. You will deliver and support technical training for Services North America, ensuring curricula align with strategic goals and customer needs.

You will manage instructors, coordinate content, and collaborate with Product, Factory, and Services teams to deliver compliant, high-quality trainings. Domestic travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Power Delivery equipment and training.
• Associate degree with 7+ years in field service type role, or Technical certificate.
• HS diploma/GED with 12+ years related experience.
• Previous training experience including technical content development, delivery, and instructor development materials.
• Effective collaboration across Product, Factory, and Services teams.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the Services Training center in Cary, NC.
• Oversee EL Services training curriculum and development of new offerings/trainings.
• Ensure instructors meet requirements and provide a safe learning environment.
• Select and ensure training compliance of 3rd party suppliers; support technical projects as needed.
