Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Technical Training role at our onsite facility in Mebane, NC. You will participate in defining production sequences, analyzing cycle times, and preparing technical docs for process phases.

You will train staff during startup and ensure documentation is shared with Supply Chain Management for supplier evaluations and agreements. Role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, data analysis, project management, and strong technical/engineering skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years working in a manufacturing environment.
• Data analysis and reporting skills.
• Project management experience.
• Understanding of engineering & manufacturing processes.
• Maintenance planning and backlog management.
• Supplier relationship management.
• Supply chain management knowledge.
• Specialist technical & engineering skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• Ability to use common hand tools (tape measure, calipers, grinders).
• Ability to safely use a ladder.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Participates in sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of new production processes/products.
• Shares cycle time data with internal teams.
• Prepares technical documentation about process phases and cycle times.
• Supports production during start-ups by training staff.
• Ensures updated process/technical docs are provided to SCM teams for supplier evaluations and agreements.
• Participates in defining action plans and training for Maintenance and Production teams during internal/external process and equipment start-up.
