Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is seeking a Training Coordinator to develop and implement technical training for new hires in the Business Unit. You will collaborate with Supervisors to map required competencies and coordinate SME involvement, ensuring timely onboarding and compliance.

You will teach document control and training management basics, manage records, and support performance reviews, while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of Pay For Skills systems.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
• Strong communication with Supervisors and Admins to keep systems in order.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Supervisor/Manager to identify technical competencies and add to the competency matrix.
• Coordinate with shift Supervisor to identify Subject Matter Experts for each competency.
• Coordinate initial training for new Business Unit members.
• Teach basic Document Control and Training Management to new employees.
• Establish and manage training schedules for new hires.
• Train & certify Subject Matter Experts as Technical Trainers in MOS Chorus and adult learning concepts.
• Support 30-60-90 day reviews with Team Leaders and Supervisors.
• Maintain training records across the competency matrix, Training Logs, and LDS.
