Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is seeking a Safety Technician to enforce and continuously improve our safety and security programs across the site. You’ll report to the Safety Manager and partner with operations, HR, and facilities to reduce risk and ensure OSHA compliance.

We value hands-on training, rigorous audits, and proactive risk mitigation, with daily safety metrics, incident investigations, and corrective actions driving measurable results in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of safety and/or security experience preferred.
• Advanced training or certification in safety and security preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily safety audits and inspections.
• Lead safety tours and facility assessments.
• Deliver hands-on LOTO training and safety orientation.
• Develop and implement safety procedures and documentation.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses and track corrective actions.
