Job summary

Perry's Ice Cream in New York state seeks a Training Manager to lead the development of the Operations Team's training, qualification, and onboarding initiatives. You will implement training programs, manage documentation, and champion continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

You will work closely with operations leaders to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and FSMA requirements while leveraging LMS and Red Zone data to measure progress and drive results.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor degree preferred in Business, Planning, Operations, Education, or Psychology.
• Experience in supply chain and manufacturing support is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel (intermediate/advanced), Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Red Zone or similar manufacturing software preferred.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Lean concepts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Training initiatives to support the Operations Team, including selection of third party resources.
• Lead development and implementation of the Operations Training Curriculum.
• Oversee LMS usage to deliver training content across departments.
• Provide data management support using the Redzone database.
• Maintain training materials, checklists, and records of reviews.
• Support onboarding and mentoring programs for hourly team members.
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning and succession training.
• Other duties as assigned.
