Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. is seeking a New Product Specialist to drive successful development, implementation and commercialization of new products and process improvements within the factory.

You will serve as the site technical expert, overseeing capital budgets, operating budgets and cost-saving targets while building employee knowledge and skills. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing capital and capacity planning for new initiatives, and ensuring adherence

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage existing products/processes renovation projects.
• Act as the guardian of technical product and process standards; provide site technical support.
• Lead plant trials and startup processes for assigned projects; monitor status and risk factors.
• Develop and deliver training; build staff capability and skills.
• Lead cross-functional teams; develop and track project implementation plans.
• Ensure GMPs quality checks, testing and documentation; stop and escalate if quality is not met.
