Corning Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Talent Program Leader in Wilmington, NC to design, implement, and sustain a comprehensive technical training program for the plant workforce.

You will partner with internal stakeholders to assess skill gaps, develop standardized curricula, and drive technical capability aligned with plant goals. The role requires a BS in Engineering and at least 5 years in technical/manufacturing settings, strong leadership, and program management.

Competenze

• BS in Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
• Experience designing and delivering technical training programs.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Mansioni

• Design and implement a structured technical training curriculum across all plant departments.
• Develop and standardize training materials and delivery methods for entry-level to advanced levels.
• Define technical competency standards and certification requirements for plant roles.
• Support SMEs in delivering specialized technical training.
• Manage training systems and tools and implement new solutions as needed.
• Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive technical talent progression and career development pathways.
• Leverage Manufacturing 4.0 tools to identify gaps and support development programs.
• Lead cross-functional teams to improve department training plans and initiatives.
• Document processes and support change management for updates.
• Build and sustain continuous improvement plans and collaborate with other Corning locations.
