Job summary

CAI, a global services firm, is seeking a Technical Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver IT training programs across the Washington DC metropolitan area. This full-time contract role is onsite and supports multiple WMATA locations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in technical training, curriculum development, and content creation, with hands-on experience with Trapeze and/or HASTUS, and excellent communication skills to train diverse audiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
10+ years of experience in designing and developing technical training content.
10+ years delivering technical systems training and curriculum development.
2+ years with Transit Scheduling systems such as Trapeze and HASTUS.
Excellent communication and instructional skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver IT training programs across multiple WMATA locations.
Create presentations, manuals, videos, and CBT resources for training.
Support implementation and migration projects (e.g., Trapeze to HASTUS).
Attend Train-the-Trainer programs for Daily Operations and Bidding.
Collaborate with DM, HR, and Payroll to align training with business goals.
Assess training effectiveness using evaluations and performance metrics.
Identify training gaps and resolve issues to support operations.
