Job summary

Virtual Company in Tucson, AZ seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to support end-to-end technical training and documentation.

You will develop and maintain e-learning modules, hands-on lab guides, SOPs, and quick-reference materials, translating complex scientific workflows into clear instructional content and interactive learning experiences.

Collaborate with SMEs, design multimedia assets using Articulate 360 and Camtasia, and manage LMS assets to track completion and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with ~5+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 1+ years.
• Instructional Design experience required.
• Familiarity with tissue-based assay products or Ventana BenchMark platforms is a plus but learning is acceptable.
• Experience developing e-learning modules and training documentation using Articulate and Camtasia.

Responsibilities

• Pay: $35 – 45/hr (W2)
• 1-year assignment with potential to extend based on performance and business need
• Onsite role in Tucson, AZ
• You will support Product Development and related functional areas by supporting the end-to-end technical training and instructional design lifecycle.
• This role focuses on Instructional Design, i.e. developing and maintaining e-learning modules, hands‑on laboratory guides, SOPs, quick-reference materials, and technical training documentation
• Translate complex scientific, pathology lab, and tissue-based assay workflows into clear, structured instructional content
• Design interactive learning modules, multimedia assets, and scenario-based training using tools such as Articulate 360 and Camtasia
• Support delivery of technical onboarding, hands‑on laboratory coaching, interactive workshops, classroom instruction, and virtual training
• Partner with technical and scientific SMEs to identify training needs, assess skills gaps, and develop effective learning programs
• Manage LMS training assets, track course completion, competency assessments, and compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with ~5+ years of relevant experience required, OR Master's degree with 1+ years of relevant experience
• Instructional Design experience required
• Direct familiarity with tissue-based assay products or experience operating Ventana BenchMark staining instrument platforms (or equivalent diagnostic instrumentation) a plus but opening to learning is acceptable.
• Experience developing e-learning modules, technical curriculum, lab guides, SOPs, and training documentation required using Articulate and/or Camtasia.
