Silvus Technologies in Salt Lake City, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a full-time Technical Trainer to deliver hands-on training for assembly, inspection, soldering, and equipment use. You will maintain curricula, ensure ISO 9001 compliance, and proctor IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 courses with Engineering, Production and Quality collaboration.

The role requires 3–5 years in electronics manufacturing or related training, strong documentation skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years hands-on electronics manufacturing or technical training experience.
• Experience delivering hands-on training or technical instruction.
• Experience with soldering, PCB assembly, or inspection processes.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics/drawings/work instructions.

Responsabilités

• Deliver hands-on training for new Operations staff (assembly, inspection, soldering, equipment use).
• Maintain and update training curricula, materials, skill assessments, and qualification documentation.
• Ensure training records and competency logs meet ISO 9001 requirements.
• Proctor IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 training and evaluations.
• Maintain a clean, organized training area and update materials for ECO changes.
• Conduct refresher training and re-certification; track new hire progress with Production leadership.
• Support QA by identifying skill gaps and developing targeted training plans.
• Assist in updating work instructions and visual aids used in training.
• Participate in ISO audits to provide training evidence.
