Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Salt Lake City seeks a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead the electronics manufacturing team across multiple shifts. You will ensure output meets quality standards, align with schedules, and collaborate with Quality and Engineering to maintain seamless materials flow.

The role emphasizes leadership, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to achieve KPIs, schedule adherence, and safe, compliant production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Ability to work 100% on-site.
• Travel extensively to Los Angeles for training during the initial months of the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day electronics manufacturing operations per shift to meet output and quality targets.
• Monitor work-in-progress, material flow, and finished goods to maintain throughput.
• Collaborate with Scheduling to maintain a high-utilization daily production plan.
• Escalate critical output and quality risks to the Operations Manager to secure resources.
• Track KPIs for individuals and teams and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager to plan production tests and floor expansion.
