Job summary

Black Ore is building the leading AI platform to accelerate financial services with Tax Autopilot, a scalable AI-driven tax solution. The Technical Tax Specialist will join the Information Architecture team to formalize complex tax concepts into software artifacts and collaborate with CPAs, engineers, and product stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with 3–5 years in public accounting or tax technology, able to translate regulatory guidance into implementable data models and workflows for

Qualifications

• CPA with 3–5 years of experience in public accounting or tax technology.
• Experience supporting end-to-end tax preparation, including 1040/1065 filed returns.
• Experience with CCH Axcess or similar professional tax platforms.
• Passion for AI-driven tax workflow improvement.

Responsibilities

• Translate tax rules, regulatory guidance, and accounting concepts into structured data models and business rules.
• Research tax guidance from authoritative sources to define requirements and workflows for tax automation.
• Explain complex tax concepts to non-CPA technical stakeholders.
• Use AI automation tools to accelerate delivery of models and artifacts.
