Job summary

Hinge is seeking a proactive recruiter to own end-to-end tech hiring for engineering, data science, and product teams in New York. You will design sourcing strategies across channels, refine interview rubrics, and use AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience.

Responsibilities include partnering with engineering leaders, leveraging market data for compensation benchmarks, and driving inclusive hiring practices to build a diverse pipeline.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting, ideally in tech or mobile-first companies.
• Ability to read engineering job descriptions and understand technology stacks.
• Credible conversations with technical hiring managers.
• Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing and outreach.
• Experience with AI talent platforms.
• Proficiency in Boolean search techniques.
• Ability to use recruiting metrics to drive decisions and present pipeline insights to engineering leadership.
• Hands-on experience building technical interview frameworks, scorecards, and assessment rubrics.
• Hands-on ATS experience with Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, or comparable platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort advising senior leaders and navigating ambiguity.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust quickly.
• Knowledge of New York compensation structures and geographic pay considerations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruiting for engineering, data science, and product roles from intake through offer close.
• Design and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies through job boards, LinkedIn, niche communities, events, and university partnerships.
• Embed inclusive hiring practices across the recruiting lifecycle.
• Build meaningful candidate relationships and provide a high-touch experience.
• Advise leadership using market data, compensation benchmarking, and candidate expectations.
